Make Your Own Rope Coasters
Summer is virtually here and to me, that means lots of entertaining at habitation. I made my own nautical themed rope coasters to prepare my drinks on this summertime. This piece of cake DIY project would be perfect for summertime parties!

View in gallery Supplies Used to Brand the Rope Coasters:
- White Rope
- Craft Mat
- Hot Glue Gun
- Stencils (I used nautical designs)
- Material Paint (I used Plaid's Brilliant Blue fabric paint)

View in gallery Step one: Gyre the end of the slice of rope into a tight loop. Squeeze some hot glue onto your arts and crafts mat, and press the coiled rope cease into the glue.

View in gallery Step two: Squeeze a line of hot mucilage around the coiled rope. Twist and press more than rope into the hot glue.
View in gallery Stride three: Repeat the procedure described above past squeezing hot glue onto the craft mat, then pressing the rope into the hot gum. Continue until the coaster is has reached the desired size.
Stride 4: When the coaster is large plenty, cut the end and seal it with more hot mucilage. Permit the glue dry completely before lifting the coaster off the arts and crafts mat.
Your rope now has a plastic, no skid safety back and a fabric top!

View in gallery Step six: Use fabric paint and a foam pouncer to create your design. Printing the foam pouncer in the fabric pigment, then blot off the excess on a paper towel. Sponge the paint over the stencil.
View in gallery If desired, apply a stiff paint castor to fill up in the gaps in the rope coils.
View in gallery Let the paint dry completely earlier apply. You could seal the entire coaster if desired, but I desire to leave mine equally is so they volition absorb moisture from cold glasses. These DIY coasters would exist a fun way to create custom coasters for any party or event! Since they are so easy to make you tin create several at once and add together a stencil design that matches your party theme or your home decor! Take fun crafting and creating DIY rope coasters!
